Remote and Blended Learning Vision Statement
The learning community of The Arthur Tappan School works to ensure that all students strive for their personal levels of excellence. Whether in a blended learning or remote learning environment, we are committed to offering all students a safe and nurturing environment; engaging and rigorous student-peer-teacher-family interactions; and robust synchronous and/or asynchronous instructional activities that maximize the use of low-tech and high-tech resources. Our faculty and community-based organizations believe that every child gives his or her personal best when encouraged to meet high expectations academically and inter-personally. Our families are the most important partners in our learning community, as together, we support every child’s strive for excellence.
